Chris Burch - Veterinary Surgeon and Director
We (My wife and I) have 2 dogs, a hairy cat - my wife has several chickens, a horse (Maddie) and a donkey (Hector). I qualified in 1988, and have been working at this practice since 2000. My interests include walking the dog, programming computers, flying model aircraft, and I recently passed my mid life crisis test by learning to ride motorbikes, whach have become a bit of an obsessive addiction now!
Nicola Garnham - Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated from Cambridge University in 1999 and started work here in 2000. I love all aspects of veterinary work and I have a keen interest in Oncology, ultrasound and ECG's.
In my free time I enjoy cooking, playing my flute, photography and spending time in my garden. I grow all my own vegetables.
I have 3 cats Fozzie, Bertie and Harry and I have recently got a new man in my life - Earl, a 7 year old gorgeous horse.
Nic Gibson - Veterinary Surgeon
I qualified from Liverpool University in 1996 and joined Burch Tree Vets in 2008.
I have two dogs - a Labrador and a working cocker spaniel.
When not at work I can usually be found walking or running in the Lakeland fells with my dogs and my husband. I regularly compete in trail races and this summer I am participating in my secomd ultra marathon. I also enjoy film, travel, cooking and sampling local ale!
Susie Romaniuk - Veterinary Surgeon (BVM&S MRCVS)
I graduated from Edinburgh University in July 2015 and have been working here at Burch Tree ever since. I love working with all animals, especially cats, and am currently enjoying all the different challenges being a vet brings!
I have a cat at home called Oreo, who enjoys ruining my furniture and attacking my feet.
In my free time I like spending quality time with friends and family, exploring the local countryside, and curling up on the sofa with a glass of wine!
