Maggie Longley - Receptionist
I have been here since the very start and have seen many changes over the years.
You will find me at the Carnforth and Lancaster branch behind reception or through the back helping where needed.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, dogs and horses.
Katie Alty - Receptionist
I started here in 2007 as a receptionist at our Morecambe surgery, I worked there until 2013 when I became pregnant
with my first child.
After my son was born I returned to work one day a week to help manage our Pet Care Plan.
In my free time I love spending time with my family, floristry, needlework and helping my husband out on the farm.
I have a Jack Russell called Teddy and a pony called William.
Natalie Coates - Receptionist based at Morecambe
I started in May 2015, you will generally see me at the Morecambe branch on reception. I love all pets and animals in general, especially giraffes! I live with my partner, Jack and we have a rottweiler called Moo, a dalmatian called Theo, a ferret called Cooper and a corn snake called Monty.
I have an avid love for giraffes, you'll be able to tell that due to my giraffe things at the Morecambe branch. In my free time I enjoy walking the dogs around the Lakes and taking photographs. You may also see me running around Morecambe and Lancaster whilst training for charity runs.
Pam Freeman - Receptionist based at Carnforth
I moved into this area two years ago and have been working in this practice for 1 year as a receptionist. It's a very varied and enjoyable role.
I love going to the lakes and enjoy walking on the fells I always have my camera at the ready for some beautiful views and funny snaps.
(In fact my family call me paparazzi Pam)
I like to keep myself fit and swim at least twice a week after work and on the evenings I'm not swimming I manage to get straight out for a good walk along the beach rain or shine.
I am a family person and visit my parents, children, grandchildren and their many pets as often as I can.
Nichola Morris - Practice Manager
I joined the practice in 1993 when I started my Duke of Edinburgh award, gaining experience every Saturday morning. It didn't take long before my love of animals became a total addiction, caring for as many animals as possible. I completed my work experience through school in 1994 and started as a regular member of staff working Saturday mornings and Monday and Thursday evenings. I was delighted to be offered a full time job as a veterinary nurse and started work the Monday after I finished high school in 1996. I studied veterinary nursing at Myerscough college between 1996 and 1998.
I was based at the Lancaster surgery until I became pregnant with my first child. I now have three gorgeous kids. 12, 11 and 7 years old
After my third child, I returned to work as the practice manager and now manage the day to day running of the practice. Although I do not have as much hands on experience with the animals, you will be sure to see me with a pet sat on my knee, needing cuddles, whilst as I work! I love it!
I have three children (and a man child) that keep me busy. My little girl is already showing a keen love of animals.
I have a big white silly boxer and a ginger toy poodle and two rabbits.
In my free time I love spending time walking and exploring the lakes with my family, socialising with friends and concocting tasty meals. I can honestly say I will be here till I retire :)
